Money Follows the Person (MFP) is a federally funded program that helps NC Medicaid-eligible North Carolinians living in inpatient facilities move into their own homes and communities with supports.

North Carolina State for Money Follows the Person.

The Impact of MFP

In November 2025, colleagues from across North Carolina came together at the NC State McKimmon Conference and Training Center for the Quarterly MFP Roundtable. Centered on the theme of Gratitude, the gathering offered a meaningful opportunity for attendees to reflect on and celebrate the dedication of their colleagues, partners, and – most importantly – the participants.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and shared heartfelt expressions of appreciation for the Money Follows the Person program. Your commitment continues to strengthen this work and the communities it touches.

We invite you to take a moment to hear more about the impact of Money Follows the Person across North Carolina.
