Alexis’ Journey Home
Alexis Ratcliff understands transition. After a tragic car accident as a young child Alexis has lived life as a quadriplegic and has transitioned from one residence to another. It wasn't until recently, however, that Alexis found a place to call home.
With the support of North Carolina Money Follows the Person, Alexis was able to transition from living full time in a hospital in Winston-Salem, NC into her own accessible space with a supportive care team. Alexis is joyful and thriving and shared more about her transition with MFP:
